Motor Specialty Inc. (MSI) is a woman- and veteran-owned US manufacturer of custom fractional and integral horsepower electric motors and gearmotors, operating from its facility in Racine, Wisconsin since 1947. The company produces universal, shunt wound, and permanent magnet motors from 1/16 HP through 2 HP across voltage ranges from 12V to 240V, along with a line of standard and custom gearmotors, and serves OEM customers in food service, machine tool, and catalog distribution markets. MSI is also an established white label motor manufacturing partner, producing motors to customer design specifications under private branding for distributors and other motor manufacturers.
