I.G. Marston Co. is one of the oldest manufacturers of non-metallic stamped components in the United States, with a history stretching back to 1844 and operations based in Holbrook, Massachusetts. The company specializes in custom and stock non-metallic washers, gaskets, insulators, spacers, end laminations, and stampings produced from over 125 materials including nylon, PTFE, fibre, phenolic, acetal, mylar, rubber, cork, and NEMA laminates, and serves automotive, medical, aerospace, defense, electrical, and appliance markets. Within the magnetics industry, Marston’s motor end laminations and non-metallic insulators are used in stator and rotor assemblies to provide electrical isolation and mechanical separation between lamination stacks and windings — a small but critical component in the construction of virtually every electric motor.
