Advanced Magnet Lab (AML), operating commercially as MITUS Magnets, is a Melbourne, Florida-based permanent magnet technology company founded in 1995 that has developed a patented PM-Wire™ manufacturing process — a novel approach to magnet production that enables higher efficiency, lighter weight, higher temperature operation, unique form factors including long-length and helical configurations, and lower cost through reduced rare earth content compared to conventionally pressed magnets. The company is leading a domestic reshoring effort to bring commercial magnet manufacturing back to the United States, serving aerospace, general industry and robotics, power tools, automotive and EV, and renewable energy markets, and offers design, prototyping, and high-volume manufacturing services with its own proprietary software for end-use product simulation.
