Dexter Magnetic Technologies is an Elk Grove Village, Illinois-based manufacturer of precision permanent magnets and custom magnetic assemblies with over 66 years of expertise, operating as part of the Permag family of companies alongside Electron Energy Corporation and Magnetic Component Engineering. The company’s product portfolio spans sintered NdFeB, bonded NdFeB, samarium cobalt, alnico, ceramic, and flexible magnets alongside a comprehensive range of engineered assemblies — including motor and actuator assemblies, MRI/NMR systems, Halbach and dipole arrays, microwave circulator and isolator assemblies, sensor and encoder assemblies, klystron and gyrotron assemblies, and magnetic couplings — all supported by in-house 2D/3D magnetic field modeling, field mapping, a Dextreme rapid prototype shop, and precision fabrication and assembly capabilities.
